Privacy Policy
Last updated September 16, 2026
This policy explains what personal information Triton Agency, LLC, d/b/a SignaCast (“SignaCast,” “we,” “us,” “our”), collects through signacast.co and the SignaCast application (design, screens, scheduling, sign-in, billing, the browser player and our player software) — together, the “Service” — and what we do with it. It applies to visitors to our marketing site and to people who use the Service on behalf of a customer organization.
1. Information we collect
Account and organization information. When someone registers an organization, we collect the organization name, the registrant’s name and work email, and a password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text). Organizations can invite additional users, who provide their own name and email. If your organization signs in through its own identity provider (SAML or OIDC), we receive the identity attributes that provider sends us at login — typically name and email — rather than a password.
Session and security information. When you sign in, we record a session identifier, the IP address and user-agent string associated with that session, and sign-in timestamps, so we can keep you signed in, detect suspicious activity, and secure your account. We keep an audit log of account-level actions (who did what, when, and from what IP address) for security and accountability; how long that log is kept depends on your organization’s plan.
Billing information. Card numbers are entered directly into our payment processor’s hosted payment form and never reach our servers. We store the billing information needed to run your subscription — plan, screen count, billing status, invoice history, and a non-reversible token that identifies your card on file (not the card number itself).
Content you put into the Service. Designs, uploaded images and video, fonts, uploaded data files (like spreadsheets used to drive a template), and configuration for your screens, playlists and schedules (“Your Content”). Your Content belongs to you; we process it to run the Service, as described in our Terms of Use.
Device information. When you pair a screen — whether it’s the browser player or a SignaCast player application on a TV or streaming device — we store an identifier for that device, its pairing and connection status, and which screen it’s assigned to, so we can deliver the right content to it.
Information from your use of our marketing site. We use one session cookie on signacast.co and its subdomains to keep you signed in across our applications. We don’t currently run third-party advertising trackers or web analytics scripts on the site; if that changes, we’ll update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
We don’t collect more than we need to run the Service, and we don’t buy personal information about you from data brokers.
2. How we use information
We use the information above to: create and run your account and organization; authenticate you and keep your session secure; provide the design, scheduling and playback features you use; process payments and manage your subscription; send you service email, such as sign-up confirmation, password resets, billing receipts and trial reminders; respond when you contact support; investigate suspected abuse or security incidents; and meet legal and tax obligations.
We don’t use your account data to train third-party AI models, and we don’t sell personal information.
3. Who we share information with
We share personal information only as needed to run the Service:
- Infrastructure providers. The Service runs on Cloudflare’s platform (Workers, storage and network services), which hosts the application, your account data and Your Content.
- Payment processing. Our payment processor handles card entry and card storage directly; we never see or store full card numbers.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property or safety of SignaCast, our customers, or the public.
- Business transfers. If SignaCast is acquired, merged, or sells substantially all its assets, personal information may transfer to the acquiring party, subject to this policy or a successor policy we notify you of.
We don’t share personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. Cookies
We use one essential, first-party session cookie to keep you signed in across signacast.co and its subdomains. It’s required for the Service to work and isn’t used for advertising or cross-site tracking. We don’t currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, because there’s no common standard yet for how sites should interpret them.
5. Data retention
We keep account and organization data for as long as your account is active. Audit log entries are kept for the retention period included with your plan and then deleted. When an account is closed — by you or by us — we delete Your Content and account data within a reasonable period, except for backups, which age out on their own schedule, and billing records, which we keep as long as required for tax and accounting purposes.
6. Security
We use encryption in transit (TLS) for all connections to the Service, hash passwords rather than storing them in plain text, and restrict access to customer data to what our systems and support staff need to do their jobs. No system is perfectly secure, and we can’t guarantee that information you provide will never be accessed by someone unauthorized, but we work to reduce that risk and will notify affected customers as required by law if a breach occurs.
7. Your choices and rights
You can review and update most of your account information directly in the app. Organization Owners can remove users and close the organization’s account, which triggers deletion under Section 5. To request a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, email [email protected]. We’ll respond within a reasonable time, generally within 30 days, and may need to verify your identity first.
If a law that applies to you — such as the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation or a U.S. state privacy law like the California Consumer Privacy Act — gives you additional rights (for example, to data portability or to object to certain processing), we’ll honor those rights for the personal information covered by that law. Because we don’t sell personal information, there’s no “sale” to opt out of.
If you’re a user invited by an organization on SignaCast, that organization controls your account, and some requests (like deleting your user record) may need to go through your organization’s Owner rather than directly to us.
8. Children
The Service is intended for business use by adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us at [email protected] and we’ll delete it.
9. International use
The Service and the infrastructure it runs on are located in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your own country.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service or the law changes. We’ll update the “Last updated” date above when we do, and for material changes we’ll take reasonable steps to let active customers know, such as an in-app notice or an email.
